Sandra Peoples grew up with a sister with Down syndrome and has a son with autism. The churches she has attended throughout her life have taken steps of accessibility to ensure every member of her family was welcomed and discipled. As a disability ministry consultant and professor, Sandra is helping churches of every size know how to take these steps as well and welcome families like hers.

Sandra Peoples

Sandra Peoples (MDiv) is the disability ministry consultant for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention and an adjunct professor for the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University, teaching classes in disability ministry. Sandra is currently a PhD candidate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
